DESCRIPTION
Meet Elric, a 3-year-old pup who enjoys rough and rowdy play with other dogs. From our volunteer observations, Elric is social and playful, though he can get overly excited during playtime and may need some guidance with his manners. He would benefit from an experienced family who can help him work on his listening skills and appropriate play behavior. Come meet Elric today! Elric is at risk for euthanasia due to the current shelter capacity. Currently the shelter is above capacity to adequately house and care for animals. Elric would benefit from individualized attention with a foster, adopter or rescue partner. Please dasadopt@dallas.gov if interested fostering or adopting. Please provide your full name and phone number.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
