DESCRIPTION
Meet Duse, a sweet and friendly 1-year-old boy who seems to enjoy spending time with people! From our volunteer observations, he appears to be playful and energetic, and he can get excited and jump up to greet you. Duse seems to be treat motivated with good manners, and he tends to warm up nicely when given a little time—our team has noticed he can be social and playful with a vocal, sometimes whiney personality. Come meet Duse today! Duse is at risk for euthanasia due to the current shelter capacity. Currently the shelter is above capacity to adequately house and care for animals. Duse has been in shelter for over 30 days and would benefit from individualized attention with a foster, adopter or rescue partner. Please dasadopt@dallas.gov if interested fostering or adopting. Please provide your full name and phone number.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
