Meet Sansa, Queen in the North!
This sweet 3-year-old pit mix was found as a stray in the North Georgia mountains after being dumped, and we're so glad she's now safe with us and on her way to finding the loving home she deserves.
Sansa is a gentle, curious girl who takes in the world around her with a calm and thoughtful nature. She has a low-to-moderate energy level and is happiest when she can enjoy a balance of exploring and relaxing. She keeps her kennel clean, which should make for an easy transition into a home environment.
She's already shown us how smart and well-mannered she is-Sansa knows commands like "sit" and "lay down," is food-motivated, and eager to please. She's still young and learning, but her desire to learn makes continued training a positive and rewarding experience.
Social and affectionate, Sansa is a true people-lover who greets everyone with a wagging tail. She enjoys the company of other dogs and has shown a submissive, polite demeanor during interactions. When things slow down, she's perfectly content cuddling up in a quiet space and soaking up attention from her humans. In her crate, she relaxes calmly and watches the world go by. Sansa currently weighs about 37lbs., is approximately 3 years old (est. birth date 01/19/2023), and her adoption fee is $315. Sansa has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
