DESCRIPTION
Meet Clover - Please ensure that you have read her complete bio before submitting an application.
Clover came to us from a rural animal control with minimal socialization. Because of this, she is a huge flight risk. We are slowly working with her on building trust with humans. Clover is good with other dogs and would benefit from a home with another strong dog that can help teach her what a normal dog life is like. Because of her anxiousness, we are seeking a home with experienced owners of flight risk dogs and a home with no small children. Sadly, this girl will take a lot of time and patience. We are also requiring a home with a fenced yard. She is not at a point that she can go out into a yard unsupervised and would need to be on a leash even in a fenced yard. Because of her personality, multiple meet and greets and a home visit will be required. We are not consider out-of-state adoptions. With all of this said, there is nothing more rewarding than to invest in these broken dogs and be part of the healing process.
Clover currently weighs about 13lbs., is approximately 2 years old and her adoption fee is $315. Clover has been spayed ,is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Clover, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
