Because this girl stepped into Rhode Island snow like she’s been training for this her whole life.

At 2 years old and 36 pounds, Nellie is the perfect medium-sized adventure buddy. She has a stunning, intense red coat that we just don’t see very often, it practically glows against the snow. People stop mid-sentence when she walks by. It’s that kind of pretty.
She’s got a bit of a beagle vibe, but she’s her own unique masterpiece. And while she looks like she belongs in a woodland fairytale, her personality is all fun.
Nellie:

• May or may not have invented sledding
We literally caught her launching herself down a snow pile like it was a planned recreational activity. No fear. Just vibes.

ADOPTION INFORMATION
HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING:
- Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.

- We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord.
- We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets.

*We do not do same day adoptions.
*Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in.
*We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
