Bertie is the kind of puppy that just makes life softer and sweeter.
This 3-month-old mixed breed cutie is as easygoing as they come. With her gentle nature and happy little tail wags, she takes the world in stride and seems to love just about everyone she meets. People? Yes please. Other dogs? Absolutely. New experiences? She’s ready.
Bertie has that lovely, balanced puppy personality, playful and curious when it’s time for fun, but calm and cuddly when it’s time to settle down. She’s the type of pup who will happily explore the yard, then curl up nearby just to be close to you.
At this age, she’s soaking everything in and is ready to grow alongside a family who will continue teaching her the ropes with kindness and consistency. With her easygoing temperament and social spirit, Bertie is going to make a wonderful, well-rounded companion.

HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING:
- Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.

- We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord.
- We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets.
Helpful reminders:
*We do not do same day adoptions.
*Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in.
*We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
