Oakley is a 1-year-old, 38-lb sweetheart who was let down tremendously by his first home. He was discarded for a newborn even though he's sweet with kids and loved his pup brother tremendously. The family just felt they didn't have the time or funds to continue to care for Oakley any longer and he lost the only home he ever knew. He was returned underweight with missing fur but after vet care, he is safe in a foster home hoping his forever person sees him.

Oakley is equal parts snuggly lovebug and playful goofball. He’s still a puppy at heart, full of happy energy and curiosity, but he also knows how to settle in and soak up affection once playtime is done.

This handsome boy is pup friendly, social, and loves being part of a family. Whether it’s romping with dog friends, exploring the yard, or going for a walk, Oakley is adaptable and sweet. And when he’s tired? He’s right by your side, leaning in for cuddles and giving you those big, soulful eyes that say “you’re my person.”

Rescue Coop is a registered 501c that saves dogs from imminent euthanasia and at risk situations and transports them directly to approved adopters nationwide. We are located in SC but in three years, we have placed 450 dogs in 20 states. We post our dogs in the areas we regularly transport to. Our adoption fee is $200 with no additional transport charges. Unfortunately we are unable to do meet and greets but our adoption coordinators strive to make excellent matches.
