Maddie's life didn’t start the way it should have. She lived in an outdoor pen with her mom and siblings, praying for someone to rescue her.

We did! She is just 11 months old and 35 lbs — still very much a puppy, still learning, yet still hopeful.

Maddie is friendly and affectionate, with a soft, happy smile and the kind of eyes that say, “choose me".

She’ll need help learning the ins and outs of house living — routines, consistency, structure. No one ever taught her those things. But she’s young, smart, and ready. With patience and kindness, she’s going to shine.

Rescue Coop is a registered 501c that saves dogs from imminent euthanasia and at risk situations and transports them directly to approved adopters nationwide. We are located in SC but in three years, we have placed 450 dogs in 20 states. We post our dogs in the areas we regularly transport to. Our adoption fee is $200 with no additional transport charges. Unfortunately we are unable to do meet and greets but our adoption coordinators strive to make excellent matches. The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds.
