Meet Mako! This handsome fella is a 2 year old mixed breed boy who came to us from a rural Georgia shelter. Mako's owner abandoned him with an elderly family member, who left him outside until they surrendered him to animal control. He arrived scared and shut down, but one day at a time this sweet boy is beginning to blossom. He walks well on a leash, does well with other dogs, and is a total lovebug once comfortable. Mako has definitely been through some hard times, and has a long ways to go with his training and socialization. But this smart, athletic, eager pup is so ready to accept the love his deserves and restart his life anew!
