What Tickles lacks in brain cells, he more than makes up for in bravery. With a struggling single mom who preferred playing to parenting, Tickles desperately sought out a role model. Unfortunately, he found Rufus (see Rufus's adoption profile at the very top of the page because he's been with CMHS the longest). Rufus has all of the mental illnesses and we think he somehow keeps buying drugs while his foster mom is at work, so maybe not the best role model. Anyways, Rufus is raising Tickles to be as freaky as he possibly can be and Tickles loves it. They take turns putting each other's faces in their mouths- a sign of a healthy mentor/mentee relationship.
To sum it up, Tickles just wants to be loved. And to chew on stuff and maybe do some zoomies. So adopt him already, okay?
Tickles & his siblings are working on potty training, but with all of the freezing cold temps, they haven't gotten much experience in the great outdoors. The pups are all sleeping through the night in their kennels like little pros & can't wait to keep learning about all of the things in their forever homes!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
