Salami has been Mr. Congeniality from the very moment he arrived-he hasn't met a person (or pup) he doesn't love. He's incredibly friendly, easygoing, and naturally social, the kind of puppy who greets everyone with a wagging (bob)tail and a happy heart. Whether he's meeting new people or hanging out with his siblings, Salami brings a joyful energy that makes him an instant favorite.
He's also one of the most uniquely adorable pups you'll ever see. With his little bobtail, long body, and short legs, he has a look that's completely his own-and his soft coat and beautiful, expressive eyes just add to the charm. Salami would thrive in a home looking for a loving, gentle companion who is as sweet as he is special.
The Short-Cuterie Board Litter is a perfectly mismatched sampler of sweetness, spunk, and scruffy charm. These six puppies are almost 3 months old and weigh between 5-9 pounds, with the boys on the larger side and the girls a bit more petite. Every one of them has their own unique look, but they all share a few adorable traits: short legs, long bodies, and irresistibly scruffy faces that make them look like tiny wise old souls in puppy form.
Breed? Your guess is as good as ours-and honestly, that's part of their magic. This is a true WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) litter: a delightful mystery mix that somehow landed on "absolutely adorable" every single time.
Despite their unknown origins, what is known is their journey. These puppies came into rescue needing everything-food, warmth, safety, and a fresh start. And they've taken full advantage of it. In just a short time, they've learned what it means to have full bellies, soft beds, a routine, and people who care about them.
Now? They're thriving. A few of their favorite things are stuffed toys, tug of war, and chasing balls or each other. They love to play, explore, snuggle, and follow you around like your newest little shadow. Whether they're tumbling over each other, discovering toys, or curling up for a nap, they bring a sense of joy and personality to everything.
Salami is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $400.00.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
