Gouda is as thoughtful as she is adorable. With her white coat and bold black markings, she looks a lot like her sister Brie-but her personality brings its own special shine. Gouda is a very smart puppy, the kind you can almost see thinking things through. She was the first of the litter to confidently figure out not only how to get up the steps, but-impressively-how to get back down, showing off both her curiosity and problem-solving skills.
Like Brie, Gouda has a gentle, affectionate nature and is less mouthy than many puppies her age. She enjoys snuggling and connecting with her people, but she's also happy to jump into playtime and romp around with her siblings. Gouda would thrive as a loyal companion in a home with or without other dogs-she has the confidence, intelligence, and loving personality to fit in just about anywhere.
The Short-Cuterie Board Litter is a perfectly mismatched sampler of sweetness, spunk, and scruffy charm. These six puppies are almost 3 months old and weigh between 5-9 pounds, with the boys on the larger side and the girls a bit more petite. Every one of them has their own unique look, but they all share a few adorable traits: short legs, long bodies, and irresistibly scruffy faces that make them look like tiny wise old souls in puppy form.
Breed? Your guess is as good as ours-and honestly, that's part of their magic. This is a true WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) litter: a delightful mystery mix that somehow landed on "absolutely adorable" every single time.
Despite their unknown origins, what is known is their journey. These puppies came into rescue needing everything-food, warmth, safety, and a fresh start. And they've taken full advantage of it. In just a short time, they've learned what it means to have full bellies, soft beds, a routine, and people who care about them.
Now? They're thriving. A few of their favorite things are stuffed toys, tug of war, and chasing balls or each other. They love to play, explore, snuggle, and follow you around like your newest little shadow. Whether they're tumbling over each other, discovering toys, or curling up for a nap, they bring a sense of joy and personality to everything.
Gouda is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $400.00.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
