His former foster family gave him a glowing report, describing him as a cuddly companion and a playful sibling to their dog. He handles life in the city like a champ: he’s happy on walks, eager to make new friends, and unfazed by loud noises (he reportedly slept through an entire evening of fireworks!). Humberto may take some time to adjust to new spaces, but before long, he’ll fit right into your life! He has never met a stranger and loves to meet new human friends.

Humberto is a very smart guy who knows his basic commands like "sit," "down," "stay," "come," and "off." He is highly motivated by treats and chews to continue his training—with the assistance of his favorite snacks, he’d love to keep learning! Humberto is housetrained and is comfortable staying home for a few hours, although he’ll miss you while you’re gone! Expect an enthusiastic greeting and a demand for hugs and cuddles when you return!

Humberto is more than ready to find his people. His ideal home would have adults or teenage children who can continue his training and support him as he adjusts. While Humberto would love to have a playful and tolerant doggie friend that matches his activity level, he would be just as successful as the only dog in your home.
