Meet Coco Puff

Coco Puff is a 9‑month‑old mixed breed lady weighing about 28 pounds, with a sweet nature and plenty of young‑dog potential just waiting to shine.

Coco’s story began as a stray, when a kind Good Samaritan took her in and gave her a temporary home. Unfortunately, when the landlord said Coco couldn’t stay, she was surrendered to ACCT Philly. As the shelter became overcrowded, Coco came to us so she could have a better chance to find the loving home she deserves.

Her previous owner described Coco as a good girl who can be a little cautious when meeting new people or dogs, she simply needs a moment to feel safe and secure. Once she warms up, her gentle and affectionate personality comes through. Coco is housetrained, has been doing well with us, and allows handling by our volunteers without issue.

At just 9 months old, Coco is still growing into herself and would thrive in a more active home that can give her structure, confidence, and opportunities to burn off her youthful energy. With patience, consistency, and love, she has all the makings of a wonderful companion.
