Lavezzo is the definition of a cuddle bug. Most days you’ll find him happily napping on a dog bed or stretched out on the couch, saving his energy for his signature bunny hops in the yard. He’s a pretty easygoing, happy guy who truly just wants a stable place to land.

He’s non-destructive when left loose in the house and does well with a consistent routine. He prefers a home (not an apartment or shared-wall living situation), as he may bark when first crated or left alone — but he does settle. A detached home where he can decompress comfortably would suit him best.

Lavezzo has had a rough start in life, but with stability and consistency, he truly thrives and shows what a loving, loyal companion he can be.

He is dog-friendly and has lived successfully with small dogs, big dogs, playful dogs, and mellow dogs. He enjoys a good game of chase, though he can get a little amped up and slightly prey-driven, so he pairs best with calmer, steady dogs who help keep play balanced. He currently lives with a variety of mostly chill older dogs and does great. He could thrive as an only dog or with another mellow companion.

Energy-wise, he’s lower to mid energy. He can happily join you for a 2–3 mile park walk, but he’s just as content with a 15-minute neighborhood stroll followed by couch time. During the day, he’s typically found cuddling up nearby. At night, he sleeps on his dog bed, tucked in with his favorite blanket.

Livezzo can sometimes be a little sensitive and needs time to feel secure. A calm home without young children would help him continue to build confidence and feel his best. With patience and stability, he settles in beautifully and shows just how sweet and loyal he truly is.
