Appa is a sweetheart who won over the whole team during his photoshoot. He's described as a "big teddy bear with a great smile and he's loads of fun!" He sure looks like an Akita (DNA testing is needed to be sure). Appa is playful, seems house trained, loves toys and takes treats gently. He played with a frisbee and enjoyed a rope toy. He greeted the photo team immediately as if he were a trained Diplomat! Appa weighs 75 pounds, is 4 years old and best of all is ready to jump in your car ASAP for his "freedom ride"!
