Ollie is looking for a loving foster home to recover in while receiving medical treatment.
Reason for Foster: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) & Awatiting Dental Surgery
Foster Time Frame: 2 Weeks
(The foster time frame may be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.)
Foster Care Plan: Ollie is being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. Since he may be contagious, we strongly recommend keeping him separate from other dogs until he has fully recovered. He will go to his foster home with medication, and once treatment is complete, he will be ready to have his dental surgery.
Foster to Adopt: Ollie is available for our Foster to Adopt Program, which allows pets to be placed with prospective adopters before they become available for adoption. If you’re interested in fostering, please visit https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/ or email us at foster@operationkindness.org to learn more.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
