Meet Nemo,

a 4 month old hound mix who is finally getting his chance at the life every puppy deserves.

Not long ago, Nemo was just another face on the streets of Puerto Rico, trying to survive in a world that didn’t make space for him. Now, he’s safe in a foster home in New York, learning what it means to be part of a family, and he’s soaking up every second of it.

Nemo is exactly what you want in a puppy. Curious, playful, and full of love. He’s discovering toys, cozy beds, and the simple joy of being held and told he’s a good boy. Every day, he gets a little braver, a little more confident, and a little more attached to his people.

He loves to explore, follow you around, and then curl up close once he’s all tuckered out. You can see how badly he wants to belong, and how quickly he bonds when he feels safe.

Nemo is still learning the basics of puppy life, but he’s eager to please and ready for a home that will guide him, love him, and show him that he’s here to stay.

He made it off the streets. Now he just needs someone to choose him.

Adoption Fee: $550

MORE INFO: Every dog with Wilder Souls Rescue receives thorough veterinary care before adoption. Each pup is examined by our vet and treated for age-appropriate needs. This typically includes:
* Full health exam
* Deworming
* Core vaccines (Bordetella, DHPP series, Rabies)
* Microchipping
* Monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. Wilder Souls Rescue requires a $100 deposit in addition to the adoption fee, along with a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract that states you must have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $100 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled.

All of our dogs live in loving foster homes, where they can decompress, learn routines, and prepare for a smooth transition into their forever families.
