Gretchen - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Canal Winchester, Ohio

Gretchen is a sensitive wallflower hoping to find a family that will help her continue to gain confidence in the big world. Gretchen arrived at Gigi's with an eye condition that required the removal of her right eye. She is recovering well from that surgery and should not be slowed down by the loss of that eye. Gretchen seeks comfort from people and is working to gain confidence through rewards-based training methods. She is timid around other dogs and may benefit from slow introductions.

This dog may have been exposed to or infected with ringworm and is currently being treated and tested as a precaution. We are waiting for the test results and will contact you as soon as they are available. The good news is that ringworm is treatable, and with a few simple precautions, most pets recover well while settling into their new homes. Although ringworm can spread to people and other pets, following good hygiene and cleaning practices greatly reduces the risk.

Gretchen is a large mixed breed, approximately 2 years old and weighs 48 pounds.
