This sweet boy is about 1-year-old and is a suspected Shepherd mix. He's a playful, smart, and very alert young dog who loves being involved in whatever is going on around him. He listens well, is eager to please, and is overall a very good boy.

He has plenty of playful young-dog energy, but when it's time to settle down, he has a sweet and cuddly side too. He loves cuddling at night and being close to his people. He is also potty trained and does very well on car rides, making him a great companion for adventures.

He is very observant and likes to keep an eye on his surroundings. He listens well and seems to enjoy having direction and knowing what is expected of him.

There are a couple of things his future family should know. He prefers to have his own space around food when other dogs are present, so separate feeding is best. He can also be sensitive about being brushed or having his back end touched. A patient family who respects those boundaries and continues working with him at his pace would be a great fit.

His experience with cats and children is currently unknown, so introductions would need to be handled thoughtfully.

He's still a young dog with lots of personality, playfulness, and love to give. He would do best with someone who will give him structure, activity, patience, and plenty of affection. Once nighttime rolls around, don't be surprised if this alert, playful boy turns into your cuddle buddy.
