Topanga is such a good dog and is so easy to have around. She gets along great with our dog, and doesn't bother the cats at all. She does have some interest in my bird, and the chickens - so I would keep an eye out for what she plans to do there. She sleeps in a kennel well, with just a little whine, then sleeps thru the night with only asking once maybe to go out. She also is fine sleeping in bed and asks to go out as well. She goes out in a fenced yard, but can escape and stays around quite well (she has a very large area so really nowhere to go), but a leash for starters would be the best idea. She is very food motivated, which is very helpful for training. She doesn't show aggression to resident dog while eating, but will try to take his food. She really likes her food, so maybe a slow feeder for a while. Just redirecting works well. She is very sweet and would be a great addition to any family lucky enough to have her !!!

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
