Calcifer - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Buffalo, Minnesota

Calcifer is a fun, silly, love bug. He still has that puppy energy. Plays well with my very large dogs. Doesn't really care about small dogs (in-laws have a morkie). Likes his kennel and goes in there willingly. Settles quickly for the night. Very food motivated. Working on house training and has a pretty good grasp - had only one-ish accident a day.

Calcifer likes car rides as he rode 3+ hours from Maple Grove to Duluth with no issues. He learns from the other dogs so working on basic commands like come, stay, and sit and doing well. He does still do the puppy mouthing/chewing thing one humans. He likes tug of war, chews, and bones. Previous home reported he liked their cats but his energy caused them stress.

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), FIV/FeLV test (cats - one in the litter), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
