Meet Eleven

Yes — like the number. And just like her name, she's one of a kind.

This tiny beauty is believed to be about one year old and weighs in at the perfect “pick-me-up and cuddle” size. But what makes Eleven truly special isn't just her petite frame — it's her incredibly gentle, tender heart.

Eleven is a soft soul. She's quiet, observant, and incredibly loyal once she bonds. Loud sounds and sudden movements can still startle her, which tells us she may not have always felt safe before rescue. She was found in Houston dragging a leash at an apartment complex — the leash chewed through — and we can only imagine what she endured.

But here's the beautiful part...

Once Eleven feels secure, she LOVES deeply. She has completely melted her foster brother's heart. Two nights in a row he's asked,
“Mom, can El sleep with me? She's so good.”

And she is. She curls up right beside him and stays there all night, not moving until he wakes up for school. She even rides along for school drop-off — bravely working on overcoming her fear of car rides a little more each day. She is learning that the world can be safe.

She is:
Dog friendly (slow, respectful introductions are best)
Best with older children or kids who understand dog body language
Likely to thrive as an only dog or with a calm, small companion
A total cuddle bug once she trusts you

Eleven would do best with a patient, experienced owner who understands shy dogs and sees the beauty in earning their trust. She forms strong bonds and will be someone's shadow, snuggle partner, and loyal little protector.

Some dogs need saving.
Some dogs need understanding.
Eleven needs both — and in return, she will give you her whole heart.
