OTTO, 2 weeks old at intake, is a mixed breed puppy abandoned at CCHS on 2/5/26 with his 6 litter mates. Otto is very sweet and friendly. He loves little stuffies that he can carry in his mouth, rope toys and teething rings. Otto is working on potty training, but as a really young one, he still needs time to improve. He's smart and attentive to everything going on in his foster home and he loves playing with their adult dog, a mini-Aussie. While we are uncertain of the breed mixes of the mom and dad, we do believe Otto will be a large breed dog. Otto's adoption fee is $250 and helps cover the cost of his neuter, vaccinations, worming, monthly flea and heart worm preventive, microchip and care while at CCHS. Since Otto is living in a foster home, potential adopters must first submit an adoption application via this link: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=zr1647&method=online_form_html&formid=26 . Please list Otto as the name of the pet. If approved, CCHS will contact you to set up a meet and greet.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
