Caleb’s Opus is thrilled to welcome CASH and NALA to our family!!! This is a hard to see and hard to understand story but please read and share.
She carried the weight so her babies wouldn’t have to.
For far too long, Momma walked through life with an 8-pound tumor hanging from her belly.
Eight pounds.
Every step.
Every day.
And still… she kept going. ALL but 2 of her puppies passed away. We (and the Vets) aren’t sure how she kept these two alive in the state she was in but…
She loved.
She protected.
She showed up for her puppies the only way she knew how.
Her body tells the story of what she has endured, but her heart tells the story of who she is — gentle, trusting, and incredibly strong.
While Momma begins her recovery and finally gets the medical care she deserves, we are determined that her babies will have a different future.
CASH and NALA will grow up knowing safety.
They will know soft beds, kind hands, and families who never let them hurt. These beautiful babies are 13 weeks old and Cash weighs 30lbs and Nala weighs 24lbs.
The greatest gift we can give Momma right now is peace of mind — knowing her puppies are home.
If you’ve been thinking about adding a dog to your family, please consider opening your heart to CASH or NALA. They are her legacy of love, and they deserve the happy endings she fought so hard to give them.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
