This adorable young pup is already winning hearts here in Bend! Scout recently made the journey north from our incredible rescue partners in Baja, Mexico, where he began life as a street dog. Now safe, thriving, and ready for his next chapter, he's looking for a family to call his very own. He's a bit shy at first, but after a few treats, he melts into your arms! He already loves chasing his ball too!

Scout is a handsome, medium-sized young mixed-breed boy with a playful spirit and an adventurous heart. He's friendly, curious, and eager to engage with the world around him. Whether it's exploring a new trail, strolling through the neighborhood, or simply hanging out in the yard, Scout is happiest when he's included. As he continues settling into life here in Central Oregon, we're learning more about his personality each day - and so far, he's proving to be a wonderful blend of affectionate and active. Like many young dogs, he'll benefit from continued structure, positive reinforcement training, and plenty of physical and mental enrichment to help him grow into the best version of himself. Scout would thrive with a family excited about including him in their adventures while also providing consistency, guidance, and love. In return, he promises loyalty, joy, and a lifetime of tail wags.
