Hi, my name is Jacob! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Shy but sweet, sensitive, affectionate, cautious, energetic, wiggly
-Can Live with Kids: Jacob is a sensitive boy who is easily overwhelmed. He has a history of growling at kids who do not respect his space, and would likely prefer an adult-only home. He may be okay with gentle kids ages 12+ - initial introductions done here at WHS to make sure it's a good match.
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history, but likely okay pending a proper introduction
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes, would likely be okay with a calm dog who will be gentle with him.
-Can do Apartment Living: Yes
-Potty Trained: Appears so!
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: No
-Energy Level: Medium
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a neuter
-Additional Information:
Jacob is a sweet but timid little guy looking for a nice quiet home. He's a bit unsure in new situations and would do best with a patient, dog-experienced adopter who will respect his boundaries. It takes him a little while to warm up, but once he's comfortable with you Jacob is a cuddly and sweet lap dog. He becomes attached to his person pretty easily and would do best in a home where he is not left alone often. Jacob's ideal home is calm/quiet with one or two adults. He may be okay with calm older children, but he has been known to be scared of kids in the past. As you can see, Jacob has a wild curly coat. He will need regular grooming to prevent matting and keep him looking and feeling his best!

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
