Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Bartlett, Tennessee

Moon has been staying in the office for the past few days so we can try to help her decompress. She's a very nervous dog and frequently trembles and cowers when people approach her. Her favorite spot is on a blanket underneath a chair, like a little cave. She doesn't have much of an appetite.

She is easy to leash and walks well beside me. She's definitely housetrained and will go to the bathroom outside in the play yard. She tends to circle around the yard and occasionally come within a few feet of me, but doesn't ask for pets yet. When it's time to go inside, she walks off leash to the pen when called for.

She's interacted with a few different dogs through her gate and the fence line, and seems very comfortable with them. She'll wag her tail and her body posture relaxes with other dogs. She'd likely do well with a "helper" dog who can teach her that people are safe.

5/2/26: We did a meet-and-greet with Moon #55149 and Hamantha #54756 today. Both girls immediately got excited and wagged their tails when they saw each other. When we opened the gate, Moon rushed in and started bouncing around and play bowing at Ham. They ran around each other in circles for a while! Ham did occasionally neck Moon and would try to avoid her sniffing her rear, but Moon tolerated those behaviors very well. Both girls coexisted together great
