Once back at the house, he spent hours happily playing with toys—his absolute favorite! Whether you want to play tug or toss a toy, or let him entertain himself, Piggy is always ready for fun. He's also very treat-motivated, making him eager to learn.He appears to be housetrained, had no accidents, and didn't try to get into anything he shouldn't. We went for a walk in the neighborhood in the morning and then the rest of the day I scattered all of the dog toys around the house and he got to play with all of them. He was so happy and wagging his tail while he got to play with all of the toys. He also enjoyed some frozen dog, friendly enrichment. I learned that he does not resource guard, food or toys at all, even though he get super excited about both. He is definitely an active dog, but I don’t think he needs someone that’s going to go on tons of hikes and super long walk, rather he just really likes to play with toys, play fetch, etc. He does enjoy walks and is very good on leash - no reactivity at all. He also seems so much more confident with handling then he did when he first arrived to the shelter and I think would make a fantastic dog for doggy day out. He’s incredibly sweet and sat in the backseat of my car very politely. When I brought him back to his kennel at the end of the day, he greeted his sweet mate with a kiss, and it was super cute.
