Marcus is a full-of-life, playful dog who approaches every activity with enthusiasm! His favorite things include fetch, tug-of-war, walks, squeaky toys, and chewing on bones. He already knows 'sit' and would love a family ready to channel his joyful energy into games, adventures, and positive training.Marcus has wonderful family experience. He previously lived with children ages two and four, and his former family described him as friendly with both adults and children. He's doing great with our older children in his new foster home. He is still learning to handle his big feelings when excited, so continued work on calm greetings and appropriate play will help him become an even more polished companion. He's still learning to be comfortable with guests coming into the house, so proper introductions are necessary. Marcus also has promising dog experience. During his first shelter playgroup, he also offered nice greetings, warmed up quickly, and enjoyed chase play and zoomies with another dog. He lives with a doggy roommate at the shelter and would likely do well in a multi-dog household.
