Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption

Ahri is a beautiful girl with soulful eyes and an even sweeter heart. Her stunning gaze is what first draws you in, but it’s her loving and loyal personality that will make you fall completely in love. If eyes are the window to the soul, Ahri’s show just how much love she has to give.

Ahri has done wonderfully living with cats and is very respectful around them—no chasing at all. She also does well with other dogs and currently lives with a submissive female foster and a neutral male resident dog. She seems happiest when she can take on the confident "alpha female" role in the home.

This girl has the perfect balance of energy. Inside the house, Ahri is calm and relaxed, happy to lounge around chewing on a bone or toy while her people go about their day. When you get home, she may greet you with some excitement (and the occasional jump), so a home with older kids may be best simply because she’s a big girl who doesn’t always realize her size. Outside, though, her playful side really shines! She loves to run, play, and especially play fetch, happily keeping up with her energetic 2-year-old foster sibling. Once playtime is over, she settles down easily and is content to relax.

Ahri is very food motivated and eager to please, which has helped her learn commands like sit, down, and paw. She’s a smart girl who would likely enjoy continuing to learn with her future family.

One thing her foster family discovered is that Ahri has some mild incontinence, so she wears a diaper overnight when she’s inside just in case she dribbles while sleeping. However, she is potty trained and has never had an intentional accident in the house.

More than anything, Ahri just wants a family to love. She is a gentle, affectionate girl who forms deep bonds with her people and wants nothing more than to be wanted in return. With her loyal heart, playful spirit, and calm presence at home, Ahri is ready to be someone’s devoted companion for life.
