Looking to help a dog in need? Then check out this opportunity to FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT with Canine Haven Rescue! We are a foster-based rescue organization in the GTA. We can only help bring these dogs out of shelters if we have a foster (or foster to adopt) home for them. Fostering is free, all supplies are provided, and you get the opportunity to help a deserving dog! If you foster to adopt, you will have the option to adopt after approximately 2 weeks.

Tayto is a lovely girl who was surrendered to us. Her people didn’t want her any more, we think she was pleased to be handed over, because they kept her in a dark and dingey shed, and she never went for walks or got to play.

She’s a medium energy girl, happy to play and accompany her people on a stroll, but also likes to cuddle up. She likes toys and will take things if not watched, so she needs her own things, and everything else should be kept out of reach. She would be a great family dog, she can live alone or share with other dogs. We find her to be overly interested in cats and wants to chase them. We would love Tayto to have a home, she’s an intelligent girl and she would love to have more interaction, daily activities and human company than shelter life can offer.
