Just like her namesake from The Lion King, NALA is equal parts smart, spunky, and affectionate with everyone she meets! She was rescued from a hoarding situation in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, but has been thriving since then in our Sanctuary.

Nala is is a very friendly little lady. Some of her favorite activities include: playing with toys, cuddling in your lap for kisses, and showing off her beautiful cookies and cream coat! Despite her age, Nala has a real pep in her step - but don't get us wrong, she also LOVES her snuggles and naps!!

Their protective nature makes them excellent family pets, offering unwavering devotion and a natural instinct to watch over and care for their loved ones. In addition to their remarkable abilities, shepherds are often characterized by their distinctive appearance, including a sturdy build, alert expression, and a signature double coat that provides insulation and protection in various climates.
