Mixed Breed and Shepherd Dogs Available for Adoption in Madison, Wisconsin

Meet Hermie! Hermie is about 5 months old and comes all the way from Alabama. He is the true definition of a southern gentleman. He is shy with new people but warms up quickly (especially if food is involved). If you are sitting on the couch, Hermie will help warm you up with some good cuddles. He loves to go where you go but is also good about playing independently with his toys.
Hermie absolutely loves his foster dog friends and takes cues well from them. He knows how to share his toys and how to play tug-a-war. Hermie is very curious about the cats in his foster home. He will chase if they run but is gentle with them and takes redirection well. He would likely do fine in a home with a cat that is dog savvy.
Hermie is doing fantastic with his potty training and has had only a few accidents. He know when he goes outside what he needs to do. He is still learning his crate training skills but is improving every day. At night time, he will go to bed nicely in his crate if he is given a kong frozen with puppy food.

Dogs from Underdog Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
Spay/Neuter
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters)
Heartworm Test (for dogs over 9mo)
Microchip
Deworming
Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

Our adult dog adoption fee is $375. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $450. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $275. Our adoption fee for bonded adult dogs is $550.
