DESCRIPTION
Say a big hello to Rula!
Rula is a playful and charming young dog and he's got the prettiest brindle stripes to help him stand out in a crowd. Rula loves to play tug or tear the squeakies out of his stuffies, but he's also one that loves cuddle time and he'll crawl up into your lap to get all the attention. He is a very smart dog who benefits from training and mental stimulation to keep him busy and content in the home. Rula can be jumpy and mouthy at times so he would do best in a adult only home with a family who is willing to set boundaries and continue is training to help Rula learn to be his best self.
Rula is in our special adoption program which sets adopters and their new pets up for success. If you are interested in him please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and email Claire at cshamgochian@parl.org
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Pit Bull Terrier is a resilient and loyal breed known for its muscular build and loving nature. Originally bred for bull baiting and later dog fighting, Pit Bulls today are beloved family pets cherished for their gentle temperament and playful personality. With proper training and socialization, Pit Bull Terriers make affectionate companions that thrive on human interaction. Recognized for their strength and agility, these dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation to channel their energy positively, reinforcing their reputation as devoted and trainable pets.
