Cassidy's first chapter wasn't very fair. At just 8-weeks-old, she was found all alone, scared, and fighting both Parvo and Mange with a tiny little body that should've only been worrying about puppy things. But Cassidy? She decided she had better things to do than give up. Now that she's safe, healthy, and finally learning what it means to just be a puppy, her real personality is stealing hearts everywhere she goes. And trust us, this girl is FUN.
Cassidy is equal parts silly, sweet, playful, and spunky. She wakes up ready to live life at full speed, whether that means zooming around with toys, wrestling with the resident dogs, conquering the stairs like a tiny mountain goat, or proudly solving beginner puppy puzzles like the genius she clearly believes she is. She LOVES interacting with her people and wants to be wherever the fun is happening.
Despite having to fend for herself early in life, Cassidy has absolutely no resource guarding. She eats calmly around other dogs and has shown such a gentle, easygoing spirit during mealtimes. She is kennel trained and sleeps happily either snuggled with her humans, curled up in her kennel, or sprawled dramatically across a cozy blanket like the princess she fully intends to become.
She's doing wonderfully with potty training and will go outside every time she's given the opportunity, though she is still a baby and may have an occasional accident if her humans wait too long. She hasn't mastered basic commands yet because honestly? She's currently too busy being wildly excited about life and existing!
Cassidy does still have those classic puppy traits: puppy energy, puppy curiosity, and yes... puppy teeth. She'll need a family committed to giving her toys, exercise, patience, continued training, and lots of positive outlets for her joyful energy. She is SO worth it! What Cassidy gives back is something so special.
This little girl has already fought harder than most dogs ever should have to. Now it's her turn for the soft blankets, the full toy basket, the couch cuddles, the adventures, the belly rubs, and the kind of family who looks at her and says, "You will never have to struggle again."
Cassidy isn't looking for "good enough." She's looking for spoiled, and she absolutely deserves it!

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), FIV/FeLV test (cats - one in the litter), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
