Mixed Breed and English Pointer Dogs Available for Adoption

Birdie is a 5-year-old mixed breed, about 46 lbs, with the sweetest, most affectionate personality once she bonds with her person. She is a soul dog through and through.

Birdie is a calm, easy companion who thrives on simple joys: relaxing near her favorite human, enjoying a leisurely walk, and curling up for long cuddle sessions.

Birdie has a low to medium energy level. She enjoys daily walks and occasional playful zoomies, but she is just as happy lounging beside you for hours. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and exceptionally well-mannered indoors — no chewing, no barking, and no mischief (unless you count her enthusiasm for stealing plush toys!). She rides wonderfully in the car, walks politely on leash, and settles easily at home.

Birdie can be cautious when meeting new people, but with gentle, patient introductions she warms up into an incredibly loving, loyal companion who will happily stay by your side. She prefers to be the only pet in the home, as she is most comfortable when she does not have to share her space with other animals. With people, however, she is affectionate, devoted, and wonderfully snuggly. She has been very calm and sweet around dog-savvy kids.

Birdie has completed a few day-train immersions with our trainer and has done beautifully. She is an easy dog to train since she bonds so quickly to her human and will do anything for treats! Her ideal home will continue to provide the calm, structured environment she thrives in. We will set up a virtual session for her adopter and our trainer to ensure that everyone is set up for success.
