Miniature Poodle Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet our toothless cuddler Sid!

Sid is a 13yo 9lb poodle that was abandoned and left like he meant nothing.

He was completely shut down at the shelter so we got him out the minute we had an available foster and to be honest with the way he presented we didn’t expect great news from the vet but man were we very pleasantly surprised!

Sid’s hearing and vision are intact, his bloodwork was good and he was approved for surgery!

He needed to be neutered and have his last remaining tooth pulled.

He was bathed, groomed and off to surgery where he did great!!

During his dental it was confirmed there were no other teeth and had not been any for some time. He has 2 ONFs which are holes from the roof of his mouth into his nose where his upper canines once lived. This is common in dogs that have suffered severe lack of dental management. When they are newly developed they can be closed however bc they have been there a long time there is no way to successfully repair them. He has had them so long he has learned to eat and avoid them. It can cause sneezing if food gets in the holes.

He loves to be held and cuddled.

He doesn’t like to share his food or treats with other dogs. He is currently being fostered with others but he would most likely prefer to be a spoiled only.

He is curious and loves to explore so a fenced yard or a porch would be amazing for him. We would love for Sid to have a place to be able to soak in the sun and listen to the world waking up from this cold winter.

He is a quiet guy who doesn’t ask for much- some food, a soft place to sleep and to be someone’s companion.

He is doing well with potty but needs reinforcement and patience.

We would love a quiet home for Sid. He is ready for his forever landing - this will be his last stop and we want it to be perfect - could you be it?
