Point Nemo arrived at a Tennessee shelter without a name — just a tag on a kennel and a story that writes itself. He was bought as a Christmas present for kids who didn't stay interested, and when the novelty faded, he was dropped off without ceremony, without a second thought, without even a name to call his own.
So we gave him one. Point Nemo — the most remote spot in all the world's oceans, the place farthest from inhabited land. It felt right for a puppy nobody came back for.
But here's what makes Point Nemo extraordinary: none of it touched him. No bitterness. No hesitation. No walls. He came out of that shelter the same way he went in — with his tail up and his heart wide open, ready to love whoever was standing in front of him. Whether your home already has four-legged residents or little ones underfoot, Nemo slides right in and makes himself part of the family.
Point Nemo is fostered in Brooklyn, NY, and is available for local or out-of-state adoption as long as the adopter can travel to meet him. To get the adoption process started, please send us an application at https://bit.ly/rosr-adopt-foster.
