Meet Valentine! A 10 pound, 2 year old, female, Minature Pinscher mix. Perfectly named named for all the love and affection she has to give Valentine is a darling little madam who loves to be a lap dog. Valentine can be nervous around new faces, but once she knows you're there to love on her, she'll hop around with her long legs and insist on curling up on your lap or being held like a baby.
Valentine needs someone that can give her the love and attention she needs, a constant companion to snuggle up with at home and enjoy a quite night, but also to go on leisurely walks through the park. If Valentine sounds ideal, she could be the dog for you.
Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance
SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.
ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
