DESCRIPTION
Layla has already lost the only home she knew once before.
At 6 years old, this tiny Min Pin with the huge personality found herself back at the shelter — not because she wasn’t loved, but because her owner became very sick and could no longer care for her. Now Layla waits every single day, confused and heartbroken, hoping someone will finally give her the forever she deserves.
She’s a little spitfire with endless sass, charm, and love packed into her tiny body. Layla can be shy at first, but give her a little patience and she warms up quickly, showing off the sweet, goofy girl underneath. She’s dog friendly, affectionate, and still has so much life and love left to give.
Layla is up to date on shots, spayed, and microchipped — all she’s missing is someone willing to open their heart to a dog who has already been through too much.
Please don’t let Layla spend her days wondering why nobody came back for her. She deserves soft beds, warm laps, and the security of knowing she’ll never lose her family again.
Layla is available for adoption at the Riverhead Animal Shelter
