All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.

Meet Iman & Giselle — Tiny Sisters with Big Personalities and Even Bigger Hearts

Iman and Giselle are an adorable pair of 4 month old Min Pin–Chihuahua mixes, each weighing about 5 pounds of pure puppy charm. These tiny girls were rescued off the mean streets of the Central Valley and made their way to DPS through a rescue partner. Now safe, warm, and thriving, they’re ready to find a loving home where they can continue their adventures — ideally together, because this dynamic duo truly brings out the best in each other.

Their Daily Routine

Iman and Giselle have settled into a predictable puppy routine that balances play, rest, and plenty of snuggles.

Their day usually begins around 7:30 AM, though they’re polite little houseguests and stay quiet in their playpen until someone comes to greet them. First stop is outside for potty time, followed by breakfast and a burst of energetic play that lasts an hour or two. After burning off that puppy energy, they’re ready for a nap — recharging for lunch, more playtime, and plenty of interaction with their people.

Evenings are cozy and calm. Around 9 PM, they wind down for snuggles, followed by one last potty break before bedtime between 10 and 11 PM. Like many puppies their age, they’re still learning the ropes of potty training. With consistent access to the outdoors, they’re making progress — but they do still have occasional accidents, which is very normal for babies this young.

Personality — Sweet Meets Spunky

Iman is the gentle soul of the pair — a total sweetheart who absolutely adores snuggles. She’s a smart little girl who enjoys people but also shows a lovely independent streak. She’s the kind of puppy who will happily curl up beside you with a blanket after playtime.

Giselle, on the other hand, is the social butterfly and resident cheerleader. She wants to be part of whatever is happening and will enthusiastically jump up to shower you with kisses again and again. She has a bit of moxie and confidence, but she responds beautifully to praise and guidance. Like her sister, she loves snuggle time.

Together, they are lively, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining. They love to leap into laps, burrow into blankets, and snuggle down as if they’ve always belonged there.

Social Life

These girls are growing up in a home with a variety of animal personalities, and they’re doing wonderfully:

-They love to play with the resident 20-lb dog
-They respectfully give space to an older, grumpy dog
-They even enjoy playful interactions with the household cat

One of their foster family’s favorite moments is watching them engage in three-way tug-of-war with their canine buddy — followed by an adorable puppy pile when it’s time to nap. It’s as cute as it sounds.

Because they thrive on companionship and play, a home with another friendly dog would be a bonus for them!

Energy & Play Style

Iman and Giselle are energetic puppies who love to stay busy, but they also know how to settle themselves. After playtime, they’re perfectly content to:

They’re currently too small for neighborhood walks, but they get plenty of exercise through play and interaction at home.
