Nix is a 3yr old dachshund/chihuahua mix girl who was rescued from a hoarder that passed away in Eastern Oklahoma.
We took in 16 with this group because we couldn't stand for them to live outside with the winter weather approaching.
These poor dogs were covered in fleas, infested with worms, act like they have never had a bath and starved for attention.

Nix has been spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, treated for fleas/ticks, heart worm negative, Proheart6 injection for prevention and microchipped.

Nix is a very shy little girl who will need a very patient family to help her become a loving pet. She will run and hide but doesn't seem to be a fear bitter but we suggest no small children. She is on the small side, weighing around 6lbs., she is not house trained and will climb out of small fences.
She does well with other dogs, it will just take her some time to adjust.
