WEEKEND ADOPTION EVENTS:
SATURDAY, FEB. 28 from 12-3PM: PET ADOPTION EVENT at the MERRIAM PETSMART located at 5810 Antioch Rd, Merriam, KS 66202. Join us at Merriam Petsmart and meet your perfect match. We’ll have DOGS, PUPPIES & KITTIES ready to steal your heart!

SATURDAY, FEB. 28 from 12-3PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT at PETSMART in Olathe (119th & Strang Line) with Heart of America Humane Society. We’ll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes!

TODD is a good looking Mastiff mix with a beautiful coat and big smile! He is 2 years old and he weighs 64 lbs.

Todd is a very friendly guy and lots of fun. He's an energetic, busy boy! Todd is looking for an active person who'd love a fun companion, or a home with another dog who'd love a big goofy playmate. He's a strong guy and could use some work on his leash manners. He's a smart boy and very trainable.

Unfortunately, Todd tested positive for heartworms. But please don’t let this scare you away! We just need to get him into a home during his treatment. The cost for the heartworm treatment is completely covered. We can provide you with more info about his heartworm treatment if you are interested in adopting or fostering him (we’d love to find him a foster home!). Once his treatment plan is completed, Todd will be able to live a normal healthy life with no restrictions!



ADOPTING A DOG
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).

If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.

We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
