Cleo is everything you’d expect in a 6-month-old mastiff puppy—gentle, clumsy, and incredibly sweet.
This beautiful girl is currently 53 lbs, with some big paws to grow into. Cleo can be a little shy in new environments, but she is incredibly trusting. It usually only takes her one time doing something to get the hang of it—whether that’s climbing stairs, exploring a new part of her foster home, or meeting other dogs outside. She can be a bit cautious with quick movements, like a ball being thrown, but her gentle nature always shines through.
Cleo will happily try to squeeze between you and the couch, even if there’s an empty spot on the other side. She loves scratches, being close to her people, and cuddling in whenever she can. She’s still figuring out toys, but loves chasing a ball with the other dogs in her foster home.
She’s all legs and still learning how to use them—sometimes they flail around and quick turns don’t quite go as planned—but coordination aside, she’s a playful girl who gets the most adorable, laugh-out-loud zoomies. Cleo does wonderfully with other animals, both dogs and cats, and it usually takes her only a few minutes to start playing with new friends. She is happy to lounge around with them as well, and reading the energy in the room.
Even though she’s a big girl, Cleo is still very much a puppy. That means continuing to work on the typical puppy basics in her forever home. She does wonderfully in her crate and is doing great going potty outside on a schedule.
While she’s still learning about the world, Cleo has the softest, most trusting heart. She’s ready to find a forever home where she can continue to gain confidence, grow, and be loved.
Spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested, and current on vaccines, Cleo is ready to find her family.
