DESCRIPTION
Stan. Ohhhh, Stan. You sweet, slightly clueless, big-hearted goofball.
Stan is a gentle giant with the sweetest soul. He loves playing with other dogs and does great with kids. He is basically a toddler in a dog's body - which is why he needs sturdy kids who won't topple over when he forgets how large he is. Personal space isn't really his thing though - if you have hands, Stan believes they're meant for petting him. Don't be surprised if a curious nose nudges your elbow off the desk so he can get some love.
He's doing excellent at potty training. He understands the concept. He supports the idea. He just occasionally makes independent decisions. With continued consistency (and maybe a celebratory parade when he gets it right), he'll only keep getting better.
Cats make him a little shy, but mostly curious. He's not looking to cause trouble - just respectfully trying to figure out what those tiny staring creatures are all about.
Stan doesn't love to be alone (does anyone??) so does best either with someone who is home most of the time or will need a companion dog in his adoptive home.
With his gentle nature and goofy charm, Stan is ready to be someone's perfectly imperfect best boy.
