Meet Maxi - a 2-year-old Maltese mix weighing 15 lbs, with a heart full of love and resilience. After his owner passed away, Maxi sadly ended up in an abusive and neglectful situation, but despite everything he has been through, he remains incredibly sweet and trusting.
Maxi is super loving and friendly, wonderful with kids, great with other dogs, and does well with cats. He thrives on attention and is highly motivated by treats, which makes him both fun and easy to train.
This affectionate boy is ready for a stable, gentle home where he will be cherished, protected, and never have to experience hardship again - only kindness, comfort, and unconditional love.

Applicants are typically contacted within two to three days from submission. Adopters are chosen based on the best fit for the dog. If your application is approved, we will contact you to set up an appointment to speak further and meet in San Diego.
