Maltese Dogs Available for Adoption

Hi, I’m Mr. Bojangles! I’m a 3-year-old Maltese weighing about 20 pounds, and I came from a high-kill shelter in Texas to get my second chance at a loving forever home. I’m a very sweet boy who doesn’t meet a stranger and enjoys being around people once I’ve had a moment to settle in.

I’ve done amazing with the other dogs I’ve been around and seem very comfortable sharing space with them. I’ve also been around children and did just fine, calmly spending time in the same yard with them. I’m a bit more on the shy side rather than overly outgoing, but that just means I’m a gentle, easygoing companion. I’m not very interested in toys, but I do enjoy bones and things I can chew on.

I can be cat-tested upon request. I’m fully vetted — neutered, up to date on vaccinations, on heartworm prevention, microchipped, and current on flea/tick prevention. I’m a calm, sweet little guy who is ready to find a family that will give me love, patience, and a cozy place to call home. My adoption fee is $650.
