This sweet boy is happiest curled up beside his person, soaking up affection and being part of your everyday life. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow who wants to be close to you, Sawyer might just be your perfect match.
Don’t let his love of lounging fool you—Sawyer has a wonderfully goofy side too! He enjoys playing with squeaky toys, showing off his silly personality, and heading out for walks to explore the world. He walks beautifully on leash and gets along well with other dogs.
Sawyer has low to medium energy, making him a great companion for a calmer home. He is house trained with a consistent routine, crate trained, and will also use pee pads if they’re available. Because of his easygoing nature and manageable size, he would do very well in apartment living.
While Sawyer can be a little sensitive and may take a bit of time to warm up to new people, once he feels safe, his affectionate personality truly shines. Expect lots of snuggles, sweet moments, and a dog who will happily claim your lap as his favorite place in the world.
Because he is a bit sensitive, Sawyer would do best in a home without young children. What he needs most is a patient and loving family who will give him the time and reassurance he needs to fully blossom.
