Meet Lewis - a sensitive soul with a huge heart and an even bigger attachment to the people he loves. His favorite things are daily walks and couch time snuggles.

Lewis is approximately 1.5-2 years old and will be adopted together with his best friend, Jupiter. The two rely on one another for comfort and confidence, and Lewis especially finds security in familiar people, routines, and companionship.

Once Lewis trusts you, he is incredibly affectionate, loyal, and loving. He wants nothing more than to stay close to his people and soak up attention. He enjoys playing, relaxing with his trusted humans, and spending time with other dogs he feels comfortable around.

Lewis experiences separation anxiety. Sudden changes, new environments, car rides, and being left alone can feel overwhelming for him. He thrives with slow introductions, gentle reassurance, and a calm, predictable routine. Because of this, he would do best in a home where someone is around more often, or where his adopters are committed to helping him continue building confidence and security.

He is also still working on house training and learning that the world is a safe place. Despite his worries, Lewis is trying very hard, and watching him slowly open up and trust is incredibly rewarding.

Lewis and Jupiter share a special bond and help each other navigate life with more confidence. Together, they are looking for a compassionate home willing to give them patience, understanding, and the stability they need to truly thrive.

Dogs from Underdog Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
Spay/Neuter
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters)
Heartworm Test (for dogs over 9mo)
Microchip
Deworming
Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

Our adult dog adoption fee is $375. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $450. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $275. Our adoption fee for bonded adult dogs is $550.

Renowned for their hypoallergenic qualities and keen sense of humor, Poodles excel in various dog sports and activities, making them versatile companions suitable for different lifestyles and living situations.
